Anubias barteri 'Coffeefolia" is a variant of Anubias barteri. Coffeefolia produces beautiful, textured leaves, that start out reddish or orange when they sprout. Coffeefolia, like all other Anubias species is a slow growing plant in the freshwater planted aquarium. To minimize the likelihood of algae growth, keep the surfaces of the leaves free of debris with routine maintenance of water movement.
For best results, tie or glue Coffeefolia to driftwood or stones. Do not bury the plant into the substrate as this can cause the rhizome to rot.
