Dr. Tank #8 BGA Zero is a targeted solution for eliminating Blue-Green Algae (BGA), also known as Cyanobacteria, in freshwater aquariums. This fast-acting treatment is specially formulated to decompose harmful algae, helping restore balance to your aquarium without harming fish, shrimp, snails, or live plants. Designed with aquascapers and planted tanks in mind, BGA Zero effectively breaks down algae on gravel, soil, and plants, causing it to detach and decompose naturally over a few days.

Key Benefits:

Safe for fish, shrimp, snails, and live aquatic plants

Fast-acting with visible results in 3 days

Long-lasting control and effective for freshwater aquariums of all sizes

Ideal for aquascaping and planted tanks

Ingredients per Tablet:

BGA Inhibitor Agent: 414 mg

BGA Eliminating Agent: 6 mg

Algae Removal Agent: 180 mg

Dosage Chart:

3 gallons (11.4 liters): 1-3 tablets

7 gallons (26.5 liters): 2-6 tablets

11 gallons (41.6 liters): 3-9 tablets

12 gallons (45.4 liters): 4-12 tablets

18 gallons (68.1 liters): 6-18 tablets

26 gallons (98.4 liters): 9-27 tablets

49 gallons (185.5 liters): 18-54 tablets

80 gallons (302.8 liters): 30-90 tablets

Directions for Use:

Place the tablet directly on visible BGA for targeted treatment, or distribute evenly for whole-tank application.

Over the next 3 days, BGA will begin to decompose, detach from surfaces, and break down naturally in the water.

For severe infestations, place tablets in multiple locations around the tank to ensure thorough treatment.

Important: If fish show signs of stress, perform a 50% water change immediately. Repeat the treatment cycle if necessary for heavy infestations or persistent BGA residue.
